Like every member of the Mercedes-Benz SUV family, the GLB takes its shape from its capabilities, from sizable wheels to the functional roof rails. Solidly upright styling and a long wheelbase maximize cabin space, allowing seating for up to seven in a compact footprint, while short overhangs enhance maneuverability in town and off-road. Ruggedly appealing details include black wheel-arch trim, a bold grille, and wrap-under doors to help you exit without touching dirty side sills.

Versatile seating, cutting-edge technology and modern style team up to create a cabin that works well and looks great. Digital instruments and displays, touchpads on the steering wheel and console, and an industry-advancing voice interface enhance ease of use. Two or available three seating rows include a multi-adjustable second row. And standard luxuries abound, from power front seats with memory, to dual-zone climate control, to a power liftgate.

Offering sweeping skyward views to both 1st- and 2nd-row passengers, this giant, fully functional glass sunroof features a large panel that can tilt up for ventilation or slide back for an open-air feeling. A power interior shade lets occupants vary the amount of sunlight entering the cabin, and you can even open and close it using the car's advanced voice control system.

Sleek and purposeful, the roof rails accommodate a variety of available accessory attachments for carrying bikes, surfboards, skis, snowboards and cargo carriers. They're crafted from elegant aluminum that adds modern style even when you're not using them.

Intuitive, seat-shaped controls help you find your ideal driving position with 12-way power adjustment, including 4-way power lumbar support. A memory system for each front seat recalls three stored seat positions with the touch of a button. The driver-seat memory also includes the power side mirror positions. Both front seats also feature adjustable cushion length, for optimal thigh support and added comfort.

Sport front seats feature deeper side bolsters to offer enhanced lateral support.

The 2nd-row seatbacks fold down in a 40/20/40 split, offering a variety of cargo and passenger configurations. Folding the center section independently can help you fit longer items like skis between two rear passengers. The seatbacks are adjustable to multiple positions from a comfortably gentle recline to more upright settings to add cargo length while still seating passengers. The second row also slides fore-aft up to 5.5 inches for a range of legroom and cargo space.

Available 3rd-row seating provides room for two additional passengers to ride in the GLB. Suitable for average-sized adults but ideal for children, the seatbacks can be folded down in a 50/50 split to enhance the versatility of the cargo area. Also included is an EASY-ENTRY folding feature for the 2nd-row seat, along with an additional 5 inches of forward sliding adjustment to ease 3rd-row access.

An ECO Start/Stop system automatically shuts off the engine at stoplights and other idle situations, to save fuel and reduce emissions. As soon as the driver lifts off the brake, the engine instantly restarts, for immediate acceleration response. The ECO Start/Stop system can also be shut off by the driver at any time.
